Vacancy – Administration Manager

The Scout Association of Malta is seeking to employ a full-time Administration Manager who will support the day-to-day operations of the Association.


Title – Administration Manager, The Scout Association of Malta
Position – Full time, indefinite contract
Probation – 12 months
Salary – €26k-32k Gross
Office Hours – 40 hours per week, flexible times – with a late finish time on certain days
Location – Based in Malta, working from office, home and on-site as required
Answers to – Chief Commissioner
Responsible for – All full-time or part-time employees of the Association

Main Duties

• Overall responsibility for all non-scouting functions at the Association
• Mentoring, supervision and management of staff
• Supporting the Chief Commissioner in all operational aspects
• Responsible for reporting and record-keeping, ensuring that the Association respects all regulatory requirements
• Representing the Association in meetings and calls as may be necessary
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
• Managing requests for support from scout groups and leaders
• Managing the planning and execution of projects and events
• All other similar tasks as may be required from time to time

Mandatory Requirements

• Reliable and trustworthy
• Excellent communications skills in English and Maltese, both verbal and written
• Ability to use office computing systems (MS Office, Email, Membership Database, Social Media)
• Own transportation
• Must not be an active member in the Association
• Clean Police Conduct
• Must accept the policies and values of the Scout Association of Malta

The Ideal Candidate

• Would have experience in the management of people and projects
• Would be able to work with minimal supervision and able to manage multiple items at the same time
