Abseiling & Zipline Weekend in aid of Missio 2023

Dear Fellow Scouts,

For the 12th year, the Mosta Scout Group will be organising an Abseiling and Ziplining Weekend at the Mosta Bridge in aid of Missio Malta. This event will be held between the 18th and 19th of November 2023.

The minimum donation is €12 per participant for each event. If both activities are undertaken, the donation is reduced to €20. Each participant will be provided with training and a choice of an abseil (either against the wall of the bridge or through one of the arches – free fall). Donations will be collected on the day.

We wish to encourage our fellow Scouts to join in for a good cause so we are reducing the donation for Groups of over 10 people to €10 per person for any one of the events and €18 for both events. To qualify for this, the Group must arrive together and do the activity at the same time.

We recommend that individuals and Groups pre-book if they wish a specific time allocation. The earlier one books the better the chance of choosing the preferred time.

As you may imagine this event requires long hours of preparatory work, whilst approximately 50 volunteers from the Mosta Scout Group will be spending long hours at Mosta Bridge on the day to make this event a success for Misso Malta. Your support in promoting and participating in this event will help towards the goal of helping those in need!
